
VILLAGE INFORMATION
Kosharitsa is a small village located in the municipality of Nessebar. It is located 35 km northeast of Bourgas. Located on the eastern slopes of Stara Planina and only 6 km from the beach, Kosharitsa offers an incredible combination of mountain and sea.
The village reveals an incredible view. If you look east, you will see Old Nessebar, a little further you can see Pomorie, and to the west rises Biberna peak, there is a view of Sunny Beach.
Near the village there is a nature reserve “Kalinata”, where you can see a natural locality of marsh snowdrop, as well as the unique forest of the reserve. The area of Kosharitsa is included in Natura 2000, because from there passes the main air route of migratory birds – Via Pontica.
If you are a fan of mountain biking, then Kosharitsa offers very suitable conditions for this sport.
Around the village there are several small ponds, which offer opportunities for fishing. Fishing can also be sea due to the proximity of the village to the sea.
The forests near Kosharitsa are inhabited by rabbits, deer, deer, wild boar, which makes them an attractive place for avid hunters.
If you like walking in the mountains, many eco-trails start from Kosharitsa, which will give you pleasure with its easy walking route and the amazing nature that you will enjoy.
